Catholic Education Ballarat - Enrolments for 2025 Foundation
Thank you for your interest in enrolling at St Aloysius’ School, Redan. To ensure that every family has the appropriate opportunity to enrol their child, all Ballarat Catholic Primary Schools collaborate throughout the process of Foundation (Prep) Enrolment. Information collected through the enrolment process is collated on a common database, which is shared by the Catholic Primary Schools in Ballarat.
The application process for 2025 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments:
- Register for a school tour.
- Register your interest in enrolling your child at a Catholic school in the City of Ballarat by completing an online “City of Ballarat Expression of Interest for Enrolment” form found on the link below. At this stage, you will be able to nominate St Aloysius' Primary School as your first preference. When completing the Expression of Interest form you will be required to indicate your first, second and third preference schools and upload your child’s birth certificate and baptism certificate (if applicable).
Enrolment for 2025 Foundation (Prep) students opens on February 12th, 2024.
Completing this form does not guarantee that an enrolment offer will be made.
At St Aloysius' School, we encourage you to attend a school tour as part of the application process for all new families.

Foundation (Prep) enrolment expressions of interest open.
Thursday 23rd May, 2024
Expressions of interest forms close.
Friday 31st May, 2024 at 12.00pm
First round placement offers sent. Information on how to accept or decline this offer will be contained in your letter. This step will consider siblings and children who are baptised within the local parish of the school. If your child is not a sibling of an existing student at the school or a baptised Catholic living within the local parishof the school, your expression of interest will be considered in the second round offers.
Friday 7th June, 2024 at 4.00pm
First Round Acceptance closes.
Friday 14th June, 2024 at 12.00pm
Second Round Placement offers sent. Information regarding how to accept or decline this offer will be contained in your letter.
Friday 21st June, 2024 at 4.00pm
Second round Acceptance closes.
Each Catholic Primary School will make offers of enrolment in line with the Diocese of Ballarat Enrolment Policy which takes into consideration a variety of factors.
